Prepare for the WQE

1. Review the Candidate Procedures Manual.

The Candidate Procedures Manual serves as the official guide for candidates taking the WQE. The manual covers the test content and format, exam scheduling procedures, exam-day processes, and candidate policies.

2. Build these sample questions into your study.

Every question on the Written Qualifying Examination (WQE) is a multiple-choice test item with four possible answers. Your task is to select the best answer from these four choices. The slides below feature sample questions from each of the nine of the WQE topic areas. After each sample, we've provided an explanation of the correct answer as described by the subject matter experts who wrote and reviewed the questions.
