For In-Person Certification Support, Visit Booth 1421

Questions about your certification or recertification? For live support, visit the American Board of Ophthalmology's Certification Information Station located on the Expo Floor in Booth 1421, next to the Academy Resource Center. No appointment is necessary; Certification Experience Team staff are available from 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday and Sunday and from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday.

  • Residents & Fellows: Learn about the mission of the ABO of the steps required for board eligibility and board certification.
  • Newly Certified Ophthalmologists: Take a well-earned victory lap to the ABO booth and learn how the Continuing Certification can help keep you practicing at the top of your game.
  • Early Career Ophthalmologists: Ever wonder who writes the questions that appear on board exams? It could be you. Learn how you can become an ABO Subject Matter Expert or help to assess candidates' readiness for certification as an Oral Examiner.
  • Second and Third Recertification Cycle Diplomates: Let us help you create a plan for getting the maximum value from your program participation.

If there's a particular question or situation you'd like us to research ahead of time, drop the Booth Team a note and let us know when you'll be stopping by. We look forward to meeting you!
